On our interactive second floor visitors can unravel some of Escher’s mysteries. The presentation In the Eye of Escher shows various themes in which Escher was involved, like reflection, perception and perspective. Now this floor has become even more fantastic!
Escher in The Palace proudly presents our new interactive touchscreen on which visitors can create their own patterns. Choose one of the five basic shapes – square, triangle, hexagon, sector and complex – and create your drawing. The program multiplies, rotates and mirrors the drawing. This way your own tessellation appears in no time. Mail the pattern to yourself and share it with friends!
