Due to national policy relating to the coronavirus (covid-19), Escher in The Palace will remain closed to the public until 1 June.
Today (12 March 2020) the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, has banned all events with over a hundred participants, with immediate effect. This ban is also applicable for venues where over a hundred people gather, such as museums and theatres.
All museums in The Hague, including Escher in The Palace, are therefore forced to close from today. As per the government’s order, these measures are currently in action until 28 April 2020.
We request visitors with online tickets to save them until the moment we re-open. These tickets are valid until one year after the date of purchase.
We will re-open on 1 June 2020.
